OUR STORY

SS Liberte 1950
Arbor Square Leasing Office has been serving Memphis, TN for more than 65 years.
Arbor Square Office Park (ASOP), formerly Hanover Legacy Group, was established by the Hanover family. This legacy started as far back as 1939 in Poland where Yessel Hanover was a land owner and an investor until the invasion by Germany during World War II. At that time, the Hanovers worked their way through Europe and eventually ended up in the United States in 1945. Within a year's time, they found their way to Memphis, TN, to pursue the American Dream.
They started with nothing. In the 1950's, the daughters of Yessel started their legacy. Fay Hanover-Nash, and her husband Joseph, began buying properties and ran a small grocery store on Mississippi Blvd. The other daughter, Regina Hanover-Nastman, and her husband Jack also bought properties and opened a grocery store. The Hanover family acquired over 50 properties through the 50's and 60's. They worked hard to make the American Dream happen.
The legacy continued when Joseph and Faye had a daughter, Ginette Hanover. Ginette wanted to achieve her American Dream: organizing and owning a prosperous and successful company of her own. The family continued to grow throughout the 70's, 80's, and 90's.
The Arbor Square Leasing Office has had numerous properties and has leased to 100's of tenants, helping them with their residential and commercial needs. The facilities have been utilized by law firms, accounting offices, youth ministries, cosmetology businesses, and entrepreneurial offices. Many of the current offices leased by ASOP are large enough to house endless types of businesses.
ASOP is continuing its legacy through Ginette's son, Mike (and wife, Joy), and their children (Michael, Bradley, and Paaton).
For more than 65 years and 5 generations, ASOP has served the Greater Memphis area. It is important to Arbor Square to provide exceptional service and leasing opportunities for big and small companies, to help reach their American Dream. Our goal is to continue to help make Memphis a prosperous city, and to meet housing needs of all businesses, both large and small.
